To
lubricate the chain you should first clean all the moving parts of the
transmission as gears of the cassette, the wheels of the gearbox, the pedals
and the chain.
It is useful the following reported procedure to become after ride - workout so the materials can create the best possible conditions for lubrication.
It is useful the following reported procedure to become after ride - workout so the materials can create the best possible conditions for lubrication.
In order to properly lubricate the chain you will need:
a.-Degreaser Chain Cleaner (Spray)
b.-Special brush properly formatted
c.-A piece of Cloth
d.-Lubricant chain (wet or dry) conditions.
1.-
Turn the crank backwards, spray the chain with the Degreaser in the gears of
the cassette until it make 6-7 complete rotations. Then
rotate the crank in the opposite direction gradually changing all the speeds of
the gearbox you have to let the Degreaser go everywhere, at all points in front
or back of the gearbox. Leave
it for about five minutes until the formula it contains start it΄s action. Blistering
may occur mainly in the effervescence or rear tape.
3.- Add lubricant liquid to the chain in the following manner:
Rotate slowly but steadily pedals and chain, throwing a drop of lubricant on each roller-link. Set a benchmark for example safety chain and turn up to meet again to make sure that a filled circle. Then rotate it with greater speed 3-4 times that the lubricant be directed everywhere. This will repeat once again.
Wait
for a while and then with a clean cloth wipe the chain to remove the excess oil
that may create a problem of sediment bodies that will cling onto it. It
should be noted that the use of your bike can be done immediately, but it is
preferable to mediate at least 2-3 hours.
